The personal data that we collect and share

When you visit our website, we can process the following information:

If you book a project (s) with us, we will receive your personal information from you. This personal information, which you fill in via our booking form, we use exclusively to arrange and book your requested participation in the project (s). This information will not be passed on to other companies or authorities, except to the parties that are involved in organizing and carrying out your participation in the project (s). This means that your personal data will be passed on to:

  • our local partner organizations (ie contacts abroad, transport organization (s), if you use a transfer service, for example)
  • the Europeesche insurance, if you use a travel and / or cancellation insurance
  • any other parties involved in your trip and / or composing your participation in the project (s).

We also ask when booking for a name, telephone number and e-mail address of those who stay behind. We assume that you inform the back keeper (s) that these data are in our possession and that we only use them in case of an emergency situation.

We also use personal data of others that have been provided by you, for example of the people on your booking (such as name of the participant). If you provide the personal data of others, you must be certain that they agree with this and that you may provide this information. Also make sure, if applicable, that they understand how we can use their personal data.

It is also possible that we receive relevant medical and / or vaccination data from you that are required for participation in a particular project. These data are also passed on exclusively to our local partner organization (ie contact person abroad, who is involved in your participation in the project).

Only if there is a suspicion of fraud or abuse of our data, we hand over personal data to the competent authorities.

Marketing communications

In order to keep our future and old participants informed of our current and new projects, possible offers and events, we use newsletters and social media.

If you book a project with us, we ask you in the booking form if you want to receive newsletters from us. If you have clicked on this, you can later change this setting at any time: by writing to us (via e-mail info@globalspirit.nl).

Our website contains functions for social media, which have their own privacy statements. Make sure you read through their terms and conditions and the privacy statement before you enter personal data; we accept no responsibility or liability for these functions.

Marketing research; feedback after participation

Your opinion is important to us. This way we find out how we can improve our project offer and services. That is why we will contact you after your participation to complete a feedback form. We are very happy if you fill this in and / or write your experience of participation. You always decide for yourself whether you want to participate in our market research.

Sharing personal data with suppliers and partners

In order to provide you with the requested products or services, we share your personal data with the suppliers of your trip, such as airlines, hotels, transport companies and of course the project or several projects where you will do volunteer work.

If we hire companies to help us with our IT services, storing and combining data, marketing, market research, processing payments and delivering products and services, we want you to know that we are carefully selecting these companies .
